Sunflower Sun Spot Dwarf Cola

Helianthus annuus. Single, enormous flowers up to 30cm (12") across on very short stems. Dwarf Sunspot sunflower seeds produce stout plants that rarely grow taller than 60cm (24"). Dwarf Sunspot makes a very striking container plant, but will require regular feeding, and a fairly heavy base so that it doesn't get top heavy. The long lasting flowers produce copious seeds for wild birds to snack on. This is a really fun variety because it's so strange to see giant sunflowers on such relatively short plants. Direct sow sunflower seeds from April to June and enjoy their spectacular flowers from mid-summer to the end of the season.
