Large red-bronzy globe shaped bulbs. Very mild onion with primarily white flesh and some pink tinting that is good for fresh eating. Reportedly named for the city of Amposta, Spain. It seems like it is harder and harder to find intermediate day length varieties and we are committed to continually improving and selecting this amazing variety for our area.
